Thursday August 6th - Augustana
Thursday August 13th - Arkansauce
Saturday August 29th - Tonic
Max & Emily’s is thrilled to announce the 2026 Summer Concert Series. Three incredible bands are making their series debut this August. You can catch performances from Augustana, Arkansauce, and Tonic throughout the month.
The series kicks off on Thursday, August 6, with a debut performance from Augustana. Known for their melodic, piano-driven sound and heartfelt lyrics, Augustana rose to national prominence with their hit song “Boston.” Since forming in 2002, the band has blended alternative rock and pop influences to create emotionally resonant songs that have connected with audiences for more than two decades.
The following Thursday, August 13, we welcome Arkansauce to the Max & Emily’s stage. Blending bluegrass, folk, Americana, and a jam-band spirit, the Northwest Arkansas quartet has built a devoted following through heartfelt songwriting, tight harmonies, and an infectious live energy. Mandolin player Ethan Bush describes the band this way: “We are a band that spends most of our time in the back of a van hurtling toward long nights, good times, and a destiny unknown.” That sounds like exactly the kind of vibe we need in the middle of August.
Closing out the series this year on Saturday August 29th is the band Tonic. Tonic was formed in Los Angeles in 1993 by singer Emerson Hart and guitarist Jeff Russo. The group achieved massive mainstream success with their 1996 debut album Lemon Parade, which featured the chart-topping hit single "If You Could Only See." Over the decades, they earned multiple Grammy nominations and continued touring while releasing several more studio albums. We are thrilled to welcome them to Mt Pleasant and close out a great summer series.
All shows begin at 6:00 PM with a local opening act, followed by the headliner at 7:00 PM. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, settle in for an evening of great music, and enjoy food from our outdoor grill or anything from our full regular menu inside.
The Max & Emily’s Summer Concert Series is proudly sponsored by Downtown Mt. Pleasant, Isabella Bank, the Central Michigan University Alumni Association, the Mt. Pleasant Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Max & Emily’s.
