Max & Emily’s is proud to announce the 2025 edition of the Max & Emily’s Summer Concert Series. Two major shows are planned for August, featuring strong ties to Mt. Pleasant, Central Michigan University, and of course, Max & Emily’s.
After spending the past six years traveling the country, Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers return to downtown Mt. Pleasant on Thursday, August 14. Joe began performing as a sophomore at CMU in the late 2000s, and the band joined him in 2011. Over the past 15 years, they’ve performed across the country at festivals such as Electric Forest, South by Southwest, and Bonnaroo, crafting a captivating live show that’s become a must-see musical experience.
The one and only Jeff Daniels closes out our summer shows on Saturday, August 23. Since his last visit in 2018, Jeff has starred on Broadway as Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, won his second Emmy Award, appeared in numerous television shows, and released new music—both solo and with The Ben Daniels Band. With only a few shows on his fall schedule, we are thrilled to have him back at Max & Emily’s.
All shows will begin at 6 PM with a local opener, followed by the headliner at 7 PM. Please bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and as always, we’ll have the grill going outside along with our full regular menu available inside when you’re hungry.
The Max & Emily’s Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Downtown Mt. Pleasant, Isabella Bank, Central Michigan University, the Mt. Pleasant Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Max & Emily’s.
